We will be happy to respond as soon as possible.[\/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=&#8221;How does the Campus work?&#8221;]The festival takes place in Italy and it lasts from June until September. You will travel around Italian cities with a big bus and each week you will produce a new short-film with other filmmakers from all over the world. You have to pay for your food, flight and VISA only, because Cinemadamare doesn\u2019t require any submission or participation fee.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Do I have to bring my equipment?&#8221;]You have to bring your own equipment, especially if you are an operator, an editor and a sound engineer. You have to declare in your first online meeting which equipment you will bring with you. Remember, even if you are a director or a scriptwriter, the staff will evaluate the possibility to host you in Cinemadamare on not, based on which equipment you are going to bring, because that will determinate the number of films produced during the tour.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Are travel, food and VISA costs covered?&#8221;]No, they aren\u2019t. The only costs that Cinemadamare covers are: the accommodation (in sport halls, schools, etc\u2026) and the trip between a stage to another. You have to provide to the arrival and departure travel to and from Cinemadamare.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;I don\u2019t live in Italy, can I participate?&#8221;]Of course. Cinemadamare is an international campus, to give the possibility to filmmakers, actors, editors, DOP, from all over the world, to participate to the Event to create a Melting Pot of culture that creates unique works of art. The entire tour will be organized in compliance of the protocols of the anticovid Italian and European law. This means that you will have to show to the staff your vaccine certification when you will arrive.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;What can I do to obtain a VISA?&#8221;]You will have to require the VISA to the Italian Embassy or Consulate of your country. We can send you an \u201cEssential letter\u201d that you will bring to your embassy to have \u201cTourist VISA\u201d. Cinemadamare is not and education centre, for this reason, you can only apply for a VISA, for cultural or touristic reasons.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;How long can I stay at Cinemadamare? Even just one week?&#8221;]You can participate in the Campus for its entire duration; however, the minimum stay is 3 weeks.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Are there any lockers or security systems for personal equipment?&#8221;]Due to the particular organisation of the Campus and the basic accommodation arrangements that characterise the Campus, Cinemadamare does not guarantee the presence of lockers or locked spaces in which to store your personal belongings or equipment. Cinemadamare guarantees the presence of a member of staff in our &#8216;accommodation&#8217; 24\/7. Cinemadamare is committed to sharing and respecting the equipment of each of its participants, by all filmmakers present.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Will I have a certification at the end of the Campus?&#8221;]You can ask the staff to write a document to prove your stay and your achievements in Cinemadamare, if you need it, but it is not a recognised certificate.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Do I have to do a second interview with the staff?&#8221;]If your first online selection interview will be positive, the staff is going to contact you again to do the second one.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;When will I know if I have been selected?&#8221;]The submission will be open until the end of May, and, before the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of June we will send and official invitation to the selected filmmaker. You will have to reply to that with your document and your last confirmation. If you will not receive an invite, it will mean that you are not selected.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Can I come for one period and then come back the next month?&#8221;]Is it possible, but we prefer not. Of course, if you are going to stay for 3 weeks (the minimum staying) and then, after two weeks, you want you come back for other 3 weeks or more, this could be accepted.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Are there any restrictions on what you can film or shoot during the Campus (including any Vlog-like videos)?&#8221;]The only limits you have on what you can film are on strongly racist, sexist, religious themes, and in general anything that is offensive to any community, pornography and extreme violence is forbidden. The films in the Weekly Competition are free themed, the only limit is in the length, a short film must not be longer than 12 minutes. As for videos not in competition, there is no limit.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Can I invite someone I know to participate?&#8221;]Of course! We appreciate that the filmmakers help us to make the Campus known as much as possible.
